Alcomet awarded in the TRUE LEADER ranking
Being a leader in the production of aluminum products Alcomet AD received for the fifth consecutive year a prize in the TRUE LEADER initiative.
The official ceremony took place on December 4, 2018, in the Rainbow Plaza Hall in Sofia. More than 250 senior management representatives of leading Bulgarian and international companies were present, as well as representatives of Chambers of Commerce and Branch Organizations.
The TRUE LEADER initiative distinguishes companies, leaders in the sectors in which they operate, meeting several objective and measurable official published criteria, without a subjective opinion of a jury or results from public inquiry.
In order to be awarded, the enterprises have to meet the following criteria:
- To be among the 300 most profitable EBITDA companies for 2017, which means profits before taxes, fees, and depreciation - for Alcomet these are BGN 32 mln.
- To have increased the number of their employees in 2017 compared to 2016 - for Alcomet these were 978 people.
- To have a high credit score (ICAP Credit Score B2 - A1) - for the company it is A2.
- To be a leader in their sector of operation.
On behalf of Alcomet, the award received by Ms. Nelly Toncheva – a member of the Management Board and director of the company’s Sales Department. The prize was awarded by Mr.Stamen Yanev - Executive Director of the Bulgarian Investment Agency. "Alcomet is within a massive investment program, after the completion of which we expect the company to expand both its product portfolio and its market positions," said Ms. Toncheva when receiving the prize.
