ALUMINIUM 2018
Alcomet took part in the world’s leading trade show for the aluminium industry, held in Düsseldorf , October 9-11, 2018. Some 1 000 exhibitors from around the world presented the industry’s complete range – from aluminium production to machines and plants for processing to semi-finished and finished goods and recycling.
The company showcase its rolling and extruded products on a booth situated on 110 sq.m. Successful meetings were held by the team of Alcomet with present and future partners, discussed were cooperation opportunities.
"We are glad about our participation in Aluminium 2018 because our expectations for high interest to our products were confirmed", commented Ms. Neli Toncheva – Alcomet Sales director. "The numerous meetings with our business partners made us confident that investments in expanding production capacities will find market realization", she added.
The Executive director of Alcomet Mr. Huseyin Yorucu together with Senior Vice President of SMS group GmbH- Mr. Michael Schäfer – partner in the project "Investment program 2016-2019" presented its development. It is expected in November this year the first stage of the program to completed by starting a new press that will allow the company to expand its product portfolio, meeting the latest trends in automotive and architecture.
Thanks to the HybrEx extrusion press the company will be able to produce profiles with CCD of up to 310 mm and wall thickness as low as 0.8 mm. The new generation extrusion press will increase the production capacity of the extrusion site by 35 000 t/year.
