The Management Board of BAMI organized on November 20, 2018 in the premises of the National Assembly a discussion: ‘The Basic Industries and the Economic Future of Bulgaria. Metallurgy - with an Innovative Vision and a Driver for Sustainable Growth’.
The chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy and Tourism at the 44th National Assembly - Mr. Petar Kanev, has sent a letter to the Chairman of the BAMI Board in which he is thanking for the meeting held with MPs on the development of the Bulgarian metallurgy. Expressed is also the hope for future cooperation, proposals for changes in the respective legislation are expected as well. The main topics of the meeting were related to the sustainable development of the Bulgarian metallurgy, the policies on climate and circular economy, the energy dependence of the sector, the labor legislation and the need for qualified personnel for the Bulgarian industry.
