An open letter to the Minister for Energy

 |  Read: 2559

BAMI, BFIEC, and BCCI sent an open letter to the Minister for Energy, with a copy to the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission and the Parliament, on the long-term vision for the development of the Energy sector and the future of the coal-fired power plants. The organizations insist on short-term decisive and constructive measures that will lead to a real prospect of financial stabilization of Maritsa East 2 TPP and the coal energy. It is categorically declared that these organizations do not accept the administrative transfer of extra emission’s costs to the electricity prices and the loss of energy to be compensated through cost to the ‘Commitment to the Society’-price.
